At Gail Designs, every product is custom-made and personalized specifically for each customer. Because of the customized nature of our products and services, please review our refund and return policy carefully before placing an order.

By placing an order with Gail Designs, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Custom Products

The majority of products offered by Gail Designs are custom-made and personalized.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Custom Vinyl Decals

  • Laser Engraved Gifts

  • Personalized Pet ID Tags

  • Custom Work Shirts

  • Small Business Branding Products

  • Custom Design Services

Due to their personalized nature, custom products are generally non-returnable and non-refundable.

2. Order Approval

Customers are responsible for reviewing all proofs, mockups, artwork, spelling, measurements, colors, and design details before approving production.

Once a design has been approved by the customer, Gail Designs is not responsible for:

  • Spelling errors approved by the customer

  • Incorrect sizing approved by the customer

  • Color selections approved by the customer

  • Customer-requested design choices

No refunds or replacements will be issued for customer-approved errors.

3. Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before production begins.

If production has not started, customers may be eligible for a full refund.

Once production begins, all sales become final and cancellations are not permitted.

4. Design & Vectorization Fees

If Gail Designs has already performed services such as:

  • Design work

  • Artwork preparation

  • Vectorization

  • Mockup creation

  • File setup

  • Custom revisions

and the customer cancels the order, design-related fees may be retained or deducted from any refund.

These fees compensate for time and labor already invested in the project.

5. Defective or Incorrect Orders

If Gail Designs makes an error in the production of your order, such as:

  • Incorrect personalization

  • Incorrect item produced

  • Manufacturing defect

  • Production error

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

At our discretion, we may:

  • Replace the item

  • Correct the issue

  • Provide a partial or full refund

6. Damaged Shipments

If an order arrives damaged during shipping:

Customers must contact Gail Designs within 7 days of delivery.

To process a claim, customers may be required to provide:

  • Order number

  • Photos of the product

  • Photos of the packaging

  • Photos showing shipping damage

We will assist customers in working with the shipping carrier when appropriate.

Claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Vinyl Decal Installation

Customers are responsible for proper decal installation.

Gail Designs provides installation instructions when applicable.

Refunds, replacements, or credits will not be provided for damage caused by:

  • Improper installation

  • Installation errors

  • Surface contamination

  • Failure to follow installation instructions

  • Customer handling mistakes

8. Customer Artwork

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any logos, artwork, photographs, trademarks, or other materials submitted for production.

Refunds will not be issued due to copyright, trademark, licensing, or intellectual property disputes related to customer-provided materials.

9. Digital Files & Design Assets

Unless specifically purchased or agreed to in writing, customers are purchasing the finished product only.

The following are not included with product purchases:

  • SVG files

  • AI files

  • EPS files

  • Editable artwork

  • Source files

  • Production-ready files

  • Vector files

These files remain the property of Gail Designs unless separately purchased or transferred through a written agreement.

Editable and production-ready files may be available for an additional fee.

10. Website Design Services

Website design, branding, and digital service projects are non-refundable once work has begun.

If a project is canceled after work has started, Gail Designs reserves the right to invoice for completed work, design time, revisions, and project-related expenses incurred up to the cancellation date.

11. Return Shipping Costs

If a return or replacement is approved due to an error made by Gail Designs, we may cover reasonable return shipping costs.

If the return request results from customer error or preference changes, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs.
